Types of contributions

All manuscripts must fit the scope, make an identifiable contribution, comply with the ethical policies, and follow APA 7th edition. Word ranges are indicative and exclude references and appendices.

Original research article

Original findings with an introduction, background, methods, results, discussion, conclusions, limitations, and required statements. Suggested length: 5,000–8,000 words. Double-anonymous review.

Review article

A critical and current synthesis describing its purpose, search strategy, sources, selection, analysis, knowledge gaps, and conclusions. 6,000–10,000 words. Double-anonymous review.

Systematic review

An explicit question, predefined protocol or method, sources and search strings, eligibility criteria, selection process, quality or risk-of-bias assessment, synthesis, and supplementary materials where appropriate. Double-anonymous review.

Case study

An evidence-based analysis of context, problem, design, evidence, results, lessons, limitations, and transferability. 4,000–7,000 words. Double-anonymous review.

Methodological article

Presents, validates, or compares methods, models, instruments, algorithms, procedures, or evaluation frameworks. 4,000–8,000 words. Double-anonymous review.

Technology development

A solution or prototype grounded in a problem, requirements, design, implementation, testing, results, evaluation, and limitations; code or material availability should be reported when possible. Promotional product descriptions are not accepted. 4,000–8,000 words. Double-anonymous review.

Scientific essay

An explicit thesis, well-supported argument, critical engagement with the literature, and a verifiable intellectual contribution. Opinion-only texts are not accepted. 4,000–7,000 words. Double-anonymous review.

Short communication

Original findings of limited scope that justify concise communication without reducing methodological rigor. 2,500–4,000 words. Double-anonymous review.

Editorial

Reserved for the editorial leadership or invited contributors. It is clearly identified as editorial content, is not counted as original research, and may undergo editorial review.

Academic book reviews are not enabled initially. Any future addition will require a documented editorial decision.

Initial editorial rejection

Reasons may include lack of fit or contribution, insufficient methods, an incomplete manuscript, serious non-compliance, ethical concerns, plagiarism or redundancy, promotional content, unverifiable references, language that prevents assessment, inconsistent data, undisclosed AI use, inadequate anonymization, or missing ethical documentation.
