History and publication frequency

History

Sapiens Global was established in January 2025 as an editorial initiative of Asesores Educativos S.A.S. focused on scholarly communication in innovation, technology, and digital transformation.

This date identifies the origin of the initiative. It does not, by itself, imply an uninterrupted publication record, historically fulfilled frequency, or the existence of prior issues.

Publication frequency

The journal adopts a semiannual schedule with two issues per year:

• Issue 1: January–June.
• Issue 2: July–December.

Articles may be published ahead of issue completion within an open issue, provided that they are assigned to a volume and issue, retain their actual publication date, and the issue is closed at the end of the corresponding period. The journal will not publish empty issues or backdate publications.

Effective compliance with the frequency will be assessed from the issues actually published.
