Saliencia visual y atención a ecoetiquetas de acuicultura: reanálisis intraindividual de datos oculares

Las ecoetiquetas compiten con otros elementos gráficos por recursos atencionales limitados, pero una mayor prominencia computacional no necesariamente implica captación más rápida ni procesamiento sostenido. Este estudio reanalizó un conjunto público de seguimiento ocular para estimar cómo la identidad de cinco ecoetiquetas de acuicultura, su saliencia Graph-Based Visual Saliency (GBVS) y la posición de presentación se relacionaron con la atención visual. Se analizaron el tiempo hasta la primera fijación, el tiempo observado, el número de fijaciones y la duración media de fijación. Los resultados se transformaron logarítmicamente, se eliminaron los efectos fijos de participante mediante centrado intraindividual y se ajustó por posición. La inferencia utilizó permutaciones dentro de participante, remuestreos agrupados y corrección de Holm. La identidad de etiqueta no explicó de forma concluyente el tiempo hasta la primera fijación (R² parcial = 0,043; p ajustada = 0,2525), pero sí el tiempo observado (R² parcial = 0,318; p = 0,0020), el número de fijaciones (R² parcial = 0,195; p = 0,0020) y su duración media (R² parcial = 0,140; p = 0,0060). Por cada desviación estándar adicional de GBVS, el tiempo observado aumentó 18,6 %, el número de fijaciones 11,1 % y la duración media 6,7 %; la asociación con la primera fijación no fue concluyente. La saliencia se vinculó más con permanencia y procesamiento que con captación inicial. Como GBVS fue constante para cada etiqueta, los resultados no identifican un efecto causal independiente de sus demás atributos gráficos.
